At Ansvar Insurance we are committed to offering our staff a range of great employee benefits.  Along with a competitive salary that’s benchmarked annually, all full-time and part-time employees are eligible for the full benefits following the 90-day probation period.  The list above provides a complete list of the benefits we offer.

Incentive program

designed to provide colleagues with an opportunity to an additional percentage of their annual remuneration depending on the achievement of the company, and where applicable, regional goals.

Volunteer day

Voluntary Community Work which entitles you to take a days paid leave a year to participate in an act of community work/service.

Staff insurance discounts

A 40% discount on car, home & contents, pleasurecraft and wedding insurance is available for all current employees of Ansvar Insurance.

Other insurance discounts

25% off home & contents, 10% off motor vehicle and 15% off pleasurecraft insurance are available to the following people:

  • Parents and parents-in-law of colleagues
  • Children of colleagues
  • Brothers and sisters of colleagues
  • Former Directors of Ansvar Insurance
  • Retirees, subject to them having been employed with Ansvar Insurance for at least five years, immediately prior to retirement.

Staff personal loans

Personal Loans to the amount of $2000 are offered to colleagues after their 3 month period. Loans are paid back at a minimum of $100 per fortnight. The interest rate will be set by the ATO in line with FBT requirements.

Met tickets (Victoria only)

Ansvar Insurance will purchase annual metlink tickets for colleagues and then allow the colleagues to pay for the ticket through the fortnightly pay after tax payroll deductions.

APL (for those on a JG 16 and above)

Ansvar Insurance provides an additional day of personal leave per quarter for all full-time employees who are on a JG 16 and above.

TIL (for those on a JG 10-15 - Australia only)

Credit time can be built up to a maximum of 10 hours and this can be carried forward from one pay period(fortnight) to another, but until TIL falls below 10 hours, any optional additional hours cannot be added to credit time or paid.

Spotter's fee

Rewarding colleagues who assist Ansvar Insurance sourcing a high calibre pool of candidates that meet with our cultural requirements.

Colleagues may recieve a spotter's fee totalling $1000 in two stages:

  1. $500 awarded once the new employee completes and successfully passes their 90 day probation
  2. Remaining $500 will be awarded once the new employee has completed 12 months of service and is not subject to any formal performance counselling.
