The National Operations Manager is a critical senior role within the Organisation responsible for the management of the Company’s Business Development service delivery and operational Underwriting function. The National Operations Manager will assist the General Manager - Client Solutions in the implementation and management of the Company’s strategic and business plans, and driving the accountability and achievement of financial, strategic and business unit targets.

The National Operations Manager must be highly disciplined, with excellent planning and time management skills, with the proven ability to ‘think outside the square’ for the greater good of the Company. The National Operations Manager will also need to be decisive on critical business issues, passionate about the business and demonstrable experience in successfully executing on Company objectives.
You will have a modern and progressive approach to business practices, coupled with the ability to identify, develop and successfully implement practical strategies for the growth and profitability of the Company’s portfolio. You will possess strong commercial negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills, aimed at growing successfully viable relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have at least 15 years’ experience working in an underwriting capacity and completed or be undertaking relevant insurance or tertiary qualifications.
