The Finance Manager is a critical role within the Organisation responsible for providing high quality financial reporting and effective financial management of reinsurance, cash flow and investments. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and based within the Melbourne Head Office, key responsibilities will include:
The Finance Manager must be highly disciplined, with excellent planning, time management skills, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure, whilst displaying a modern and progressive approach to business practices. You will be an articulate and disciplined professional, displaying strong influencing and analytical skills to produce high quality financial reporting.
You will be degree and CA/CPA qualified with a strong commercial accounting background with at least 5 years’ experience in increasingly senior Finance roles, with at least 3 years’ experience working in the general insurance industry. ‘Big 4’ experience and evidence of strong progression will be highly regarded.
