Ansvar announced as a finalist in the 2018 Australian Insurance Industry Awards

August 28, 2018

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and the Asia Insurance Review announced the finalists of the 2018 Australian Insurance Industry Awards in early July.

Ansvar Insurance is delighted to be shortlisted in the Small-Medium General Insurance Company of the Year category and are amongst RAA Insurance and RACT Insurance in the category. The Small-Medium General Insurance Company award recognises companies that have demonstrated strong performance and outstanding service for their customers in Australia throughout 2017.

At Ansvar, we strive to be the most trusted and ethical specialist insurer within our core sectors, and to contribute to and help build safer communities that promote well-being and peace of mind. We continually strive to exceed your expectations and to be honest and professional in everything we do so that you can be confident that your organisation and people are in safe hands.

Marking their fifteenth year in 2018, the Awards are an annual celebration acknowledging the accomplishments of individuals and businesses in the Australian insurance industry.

‘Being announced as a finalist of the Australian Insurance Industry Awards is a true achievement, particularly as the quality of submissions we receive increases each year,’ says Prue Willsford, CEO of ANZIIF. ‘The esteem which the industry places on the Awards is evident, demonstrated by the number of attendees on the night who come to celebrate the positive impact that our industry has on the community.’

‘The quality of the entries this year vouches for the degree of competition in the market and the determination of the candidates to give back to the industry and to society. Each year, I never fail to be amazed by how innovative the Australian insurance industry is in embracing digital to better serve their staff and the public. The entries are positive indicators of a great future for insurance,’ says Sivam Subramaniam, Editor-in-Chief of the Asia Insurance Review.

As a result of the growing popularity of the Awards night, the 2018 Awards has moved venue to accommodate a larger audience and will be held at Luna Park in Milsons Point, Sydney.
