Anthony Black

Anthony is an Enterprise Risk Management specialist and leads a team of expert consultants to deliver Ansvar’s unique risk management solutions to clients across Australia.

He has led ERM advisory and consulting practices for public and private insurers for over a decade, specialising in governance, health systems and education. As a former senior nurse and health care executive, he draws upon his experience and networks to provide insights on Australia’s care and community sectors to support policy and underwriting decisions, and to tailor specialist risk strategies for Ansvar’s clients.

Anthony is Chair of the Benefact Group ERM Centre of Excellence.

Diana Borgmeyer

Diana is responsible for developing and delivering innovative and market leading risk solutions for Ansvar customers. Prior to joining Ansvar, Diana was the senior risk management consultant with the Victorian Managed Insurance Agency (VMIA). Diana’s portfolio of clients whilst at the VMIA included the Community Services Sector, Emergency Services, Victoria Police, the Department of Human Services and Department of Justice.

Diana has over 20 years’ experience leading enterprise risk and governance functions in both public and private sector organisations with particular expertise in strategic risk management and the management of risk in health and human services organisations. Diana also holds a Board position with a community health organisation and is Chair of their Quality and Risk Committee.

Stephen Ratcliffe

Stephen is passionate about supporting clients to develop strong governance systems and processes to help them succeed. Stephen has over 17 years’ experience working in public health roles, most recently Director of Strategy, Planning and Risk at Royal Melbourne Hospital and as Project Director of the Metro Tunnel Interface project. He was also a safety culture champion and supported initiatives on positive workplace behaviours.

Stephen has a broad background and qualifications in risk management, project management, service redesign and managing change. He originally trained as a dietitian and spent 10 years working in private practice in aged residential care, disability home care services and veterans affairs home visit services on the Mornington Peninsula.

Rebecca Cooney

Rebecca provides expertise in risk management, clinical governance and systems safety, supporting clients to enhance organisational outcomes through good governance and systems improvement. Her specialist areas of consulting include culture, leadership and complex systems.

Her background as a nurse, quality manager and safety professional, equips her with insights on relevant and actionable risk strategies that can be applied across all our clients’ environments.

David Pearce

As Ansvar Risks’ ERM Product Development Consultant, David works to support Ansvar’s clients to help management and executives build governance and risk management capability and develop effective approaches that supports decision making, advance performance and optimise objectives.

Andrew McKenzie

Andrew has recently received a Master of Management and a Master of International Relations from Macquarie University in Sydney. As a result, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in business operations and corporate strategy. As our Business Operations Officer, he coordinates Ansvar Risk’s service delivery model to ensure we achieve our objectives as a trusted specialist insurer.
