Supporting Bond University’s New Micro-credential, Safeguarding Vulnerable People
With over 60 years as a specialist insurer to the care, education, faith, and community sectors, Ansvar is committed to helping organisations reduce risk and strengthen safeguards for vulnerable people. That’s why we’re proud to support Bond University’s new micro-credential, Safeguarding Vulnerable People, developed in collaboration with Hetty Johnston AM-renowned child protection advocate and founder of Safeguarding People Australia and previously Bravehearts Foundation Ltd.
The course equips people at all levels within an organisation with practical, trauma-informed strategies to recognise, prevent, and respond to abuse. It also covers key safeguarding challenges, governance responsibilities, and ways to promote safer, more inclusive organisational cultures.
Building safeguarding capability not only protects those most at risk—it also helps organisations meet professional standards, fulfil their duty of care and contribute to stronger communities.
“This course is an important step toward a culture where safety and wellbeing are prioritised,” says Ansvar CEO Warren Hutcheon.
Enrolments are now open through Bond University. Click here to learn more.
