Ansvar Insurance, one of Australia’s leading specialist insurers, has announced the 2016 Education Forum series scheduled to occur across Australia in August. Titled Innovation Revolution: The New Age of Insurance, the forums will explore technological changes impacting the future of insurance and how changes in society will influence the insurance market.
“The nature of the insurance industry is evolving and changing at lightning speed. These national forums are an essential platform for us to share with our brokers the latest technology, innovation and societal impacts affecting the industry and the clients we serve. Our two keynote speakers, Warren Burns and Professor Allan Manning, will provide expert context to the changing landscape of the industry,” said Warren Hutcheon, CEO, Ansvar Insurance.
Ansvar will unveil new risk solutions offerings available to their clients and will launch their new suite of tailored Business Insurance products at the forum. The new policies have been designed to reflect recent industry developments as well as emerging risks faced by Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in Australia and are tailored for organisations with less than $10M in assets and/or turnover.
An overview of the speakers as follows:
Warren Burns, Director of the technology think tank, The Leading Edge Forum in Asia and the founder of the Innovation Agency, BurnsRED. Mr Burns will discuss the emergence of disruptive technologies and how the industry needs to change to stay relevant as well as what the future holds for the industry in terms of buying behaviors and risk assessments.
Professor Allan Manning, founder and Managing Director of LMI Group and the President of the International Institute of Claims Preparers.
