Andrew Moon has been appointed as the new CEO of Ansvar Insurance Limited in Australia to commence 1 August 2010.  This appointment allows for a seamless transition from the leadership of John Peberdy who retires from the company at the end of July 2010. 

John Peberdy has advised the Board of Ansvar Insurance of his intention to retire from the company 30 July 2010 after 37 years of distinguished service and over a decade as Chief Executive Officer.

Our Western Australian Ansvar Insurance team have moved to a new office in West Perth.

Ansvar Insurance is proud to introduce the first heritage insurance product in Australia.  John Peberdy, Chief Executive Officer says “Our aim is to ensure we continue to offer market leading, comprehensive products that meet the needs of our customers.”

Ansvar Insurance today announced it would donate $5,000 to the World Vision Haiti Appeal.

Ansvar Insurance today announced it would donate $25,000 to the Salvation Army Bushfire Appeal.  Ecclesiastical Insurance, our parent company have also added $50,000 to this appeal.

On 26th January 2009 Standard & Poor's Ratings Services revised the outlook on Ansvar Insurance and our parent company Ecclesiastical Insurance plc.

Each year Ansvar Insurance donates 10% of its net profit, annualised over 3 years, to‘support’  grass roots programs designed to support and promote a positive attitude to life for young Australians.
